Huntington’s Mayo, Walker Drafted By NBA

Huntington natives O.J. Mayo and Bill Walker were both selected in the June 26 NBA Draft, but neither of the long-time friends and teammates stayed very long with the team that selected them. Mayo, who helped Huntington High to a third-straight championship in 2006-07 before moving on to USC, was picked third by the Minnesota Timberwolves, while Walker was picked 47th by the Washington Wizards.
