Creighton scored 14 consecutive points to open the second half and pulled away to a 77-59 win over Evansville Wednesday
The Bluejays (11-3) never trailed and had a six-point lead at the break. They hit four 3-pointers in a span of 2:10 to open things up and even their Missouri Valley Conference record at 2-2.
The Purple Aces dropped to 5-9 overall and 0-4 in league play.
Creighton scored the game’s first seven points and led by as many as eight in the first half.
