After winning its first home game as a ranked team in more than 37 years, Drake looks to extend its school-record winning streak to 18 games Wednesday night when it hosts Creighton.
The 16th-ranked Bulldogs’ 17-game winning streak is the third-longest active run in the nation, trailing only No. 2 Kansas (20-0) and top-ranked Memphis (19-0). Drake (18-1, 9-0 Missouri Valley Conference) hasn’t lost since Nov. 10, a 72-66 defeat at St. Mary’s, which is now ranked 21st.
