Shemik Thompson finished with 15 points and five rebounds as Central Connecticut State used a first-half outburst to roll to a 81-48 win over Delaware on Sunday.
David Simmons added 12 points and 13 rebounds for the Blue Devils (4-7).
Delaware (2-6) scored off the opening tip, but it was the last time the Fightin’ Blue Hens held a lead.
Thompson scored the next six points - four on fast breaks - and a 3-pointer from Joe Seymore capped the 13-0 Central blitz that made it 13-2.
