Courtney Lee scored 22 points as Western Kentucky beat Denver 78-64 Saturday night in the Sun Belt Conference.
The Hilltoppers (18-5, 10-1 Sun Belt) opened the second-half with a 15-point run, holding the Pioneers (9-12, 5-5) scoreless for the first 5:32 of the half.
Western Kentucky led by as many as 29 points before reserves finished up as the Hilltoppers settled for a 14-point victory.
Lee scored 12 consecutive points for Western Kentucky during one stretch in the first half.
