Jonathan Cox scored 18 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to help Drake tie a school record with its 12th straight victory, 75-50 over Indiana State on Wednesday night.
Leonard Houston added 15 points for the Bulldogs (13-1, 4-0 Missouri Valley Conference), who continued the best start in school history. Picked to finish ninth in the league, the Bulldogs now are one of two MVC teams still unbeaten in conference play.
Illinois State also is 4-0.
