Osiris Eldridge had 21 points and three rebounds to lead Illinois State to a 72-51 victory over Wichita State on Wednesday night.
Illinois State (14-3, 6-0 Missouri Valley Conference) started the game with a 7-0 run to hold on to a perfect conference record. The Redbirds led by as many as 25 points in the second half, while Wichita State (8-9, 1-5 Missouri Valley Conference) was never able to get ahead of Illinois State.
Both Anthony Slack and Brandom Brandon had 13 points for Illinois State.
