Michael Tuck had a game-high 23 points as Loyola, Md., drew away in the second half to defeat winless New Jersey Institute of Technology 72-54 Tuesday night.

NJIT (0-22) took an early 5-2 lead on a jumper by Jheryl Wilson and a 3-pointer by Justin Garris. Loyola (12-10) then ripped off an 18-0 run to take a 20-5 lead with 12:14 to play in the first half.

Trailing 24-7, NJIT then went on a 13-0 run to close the gap to 24-20 with 5:19 to play.
