One of the hottest names amongst college recruiters on the AAU circuit this July will certainly be David Brown. The 6-3 guard from Rockton Hononegah High School has been racking up scholarship offers from his strong play with the Illinois Warriors, despite being riddled with injuries throughout the spring.
Chris Colvin, a 6-foot-3 junior guard from Chicago (IL) Whitney Young, is one of the top guards in the Midwest and his list of schools continues to grow. Twany Beckham makes three for Coach Rick Stansbury’s signing class. Beckham will make a return to south after a one year stint in the Great North while he attended prep school at New Hampton. NHS head basketball coach Pete Hutchins believes the Bulldogs will be happy with their newest addition.
Interest in Antiquawn Beckham picked up as his post-grad year went on and he ended up with a few high major offers. On Sunday he accepted one and committed to a SEC school.

The Howard Pulley Panthers AAU team, led by Minnesota Gopher recruiting targets Royce White and Rodney Williams, fell to BABC, last year’s 16-and-under titlist 83-73 in the Boo Williams Invitational quarterfinals. The Panthers finished 3-1 overall and reached the 100-point mark twice.
