The Florida basketball team wrapped up their exhibition season with a blowout win against Rollins College on Thursday night. The Gators used a 26-2 first half run to jump out to a big, early lead and never looked back in an 82-53 rout of the Tars.

Sophomore Nick Calathes had 16 points and six assists in his debut as Florida’s main point guard and the 19th-ranked Gators beat Rollins College 82-53 in an exhibition game Thursday night.
The 6-foot-6 Calathes was 6-of-8 from the field, including 3-of-4 from 3-point range, and had just one turnover.
Florida sophomore guard Jai Lucas, the son of former NBA player and coach John Lucas, has decided to transfer.
